Aside from a degree in Food Science and Nutrition, I completed Intuitive Eating for Healthcare Professionals in October 2018. The curriculum is based in science and devised by two dieticians who were tired of seeing their clients feel poorly about themselves as they struggled to lose weight.

Q: How will you help me achieve my goals?
A: From your initial online health discovery with me, we will identify your goals and set action steps to achieve them! Each week we will meet one-on-one online. We will address everything from gratitude to limiting beliefs and Intuitive Eating principles. You'll receive new recipes, daily practices to incorporate over the next week, and inspiration. Your plan is uniquely tailored to you and your specific goals!
Q: I currently have an eating disorder. Can you help me with it?
A: This depends- I typically only work with clients who are under a doctor's supervision. If you have already sought treatment and completed either in-patient or out-patient treatment, then we can work together. However, if this is your first time addressing disordered eating, I will refer you to a doctor first. Contact me to see if this is a good fit in your recovery process!
Q: Is Intuitive Eating just another diet? How is it different than every other diet I've tried?
A: Dieting is the short game with short-term outcomes. You may lose weight at first, have more energy, and feel good. But typically, diets exclude certain foods or food groups entirely. This leads to feelings of deprivation. Eventually, the motivation you started with fades away and you're back to debating starting a new diet.
Intuitive Eating is the long game with long-term outcomes. Rejecting the dieting mentality/culture is our first goal. Dieting is actually quite harmful to your overall health- mind, body, and spirit. Find freedom around food choices and learn to listen to how your body communicates its needs.
While the concepts of Intuitive Eating are simple and straightforward, we as human beings are complex! That's why having a coach through this process is so integral to your success! As your coach, I am 100% on your side. In a non-judgemental setting, you can truly explore the different components that have lead you to where you are today. We can make lasting changes together!
